Agreement

By creating an account or using Golf Trip Hero, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Golf Trip Hero.

What Golf Trip Hero is

Golf Trip Hero is a mobile web application that helps groups of golfers organize trips, track scores, manage games and wagers, coordinate logistics, and communicate during their trip. We provide tools — the arrangements, transactions, and relationships between users are between the users themselves.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Golf Trip Hero.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.

Payments and wagers

Golf Trip Hero provides tools to set up golf games, track stakes, and display payment links to Venmo and Cash App. We want to be clear about what we are and are not:

• We are not a payment processor. We do not hold, transfer, or collect any money.
• All financial transactions happen directly between users through Venmo, Cash App, or any other method users choose.
• We are not responsible for any disputes, non-payment, or issues that arise from wagers or financial arrangements between users.
• You are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws in your jurisdiction related to gambling or wagering.

User content

You can post messages and photos in the Clubhouse group chat. Regarding that content:

• You own your content. By posting it, you grant Golf Trip Hero a license to store and display it to members of your trip.
• You are solely responsible for anything you post. Don't post content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that violates anyone else's rights.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
• Photos you upload are stored on our servers and visible to all members of the trip you posted them in.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post content that is abusive, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the app.
• Use the app to collect or harvest user data.
• Impersonate another person or create fake accounts.

Affiliate links and promotions

Golf Trip Hero may include affiliate links to third-party products or services. We may earn a commission if you purchase through those links. This never affects the price you pay. We will disclose affiliate relationships where they exist. We only promote products and services we believe are relevant and useful to golfers.

Intellectual property

Golf Trip Hero, its logo, design, and all original content in the app are owned by Golf Trip Hero. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it without written permission. Your own content (messages, photos, scores) remains yours.

Disclaimer of warranties

Golf Trip Hero is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, always available, or that score calculations will be 100% accurate in all edge cases. Use the app at your own discretion — don't send the captain $200 based solely on an in-app number without double-checking.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golf Trip Hero is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to financial losses from wagers, disputes between users, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which for a free app is $0).

Termination

You can stop using Golf Trip Hero at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our discretion. If your account is terminated for violations, you may not create a new account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state in which Golf Trip Hero operates.
